As Spider-Man once said: With great yacht comes great responsibility. We combine our comprehensive skipper training with a laid-back atmosphere. Greece offers fantastic conditions for practicing: everything from large marinas to chaotic fishing ports is part of the mix. You'll be sailing alongside experienced sailors. Together, you will grow into a tight-knit crew and, at the same time, become safety-conscious skippers.
The Peloponnese offers stunning nature and fantastic cuisine.
We train in small groups (up to 6 crew members per boat) on typical charter yachts.
Designed for those who want to improve their sailing skills and gain more confidence on the water. Learn directly from experienced skippers, take on more responsibility on board and deepen your understanding of sailing through hands-on practice. Every day brings new challenges, new skills and valuable experience at sea.

All crew members and skippers meet on Saturdays at 1:00 PM in a café near the harbour, which your skipper will announce in the crew chat. There you'll get to know each other for the first time and plan your weekly shopping. Experience shows that shopping can take up to three hours. If the logistics take a little longer, please be patient – a Saturday in the harbour can sometimes be chaotic. After you've stowed your provisions and settled into your bunks, we'll begin your training cruise with a safety briefing. Now you've completed your first day as crew and the yacht is ready to set sail tomorrow to master all the remaining steps towards becoming a skipper.

Many practical exercises, tips, and tricks await you during the week of skipper training in the Peloponnese, ideally preparing you for everyday life as a skipper. Anchoring and tacking maneuvers, navigation, lines and knots, right up to emergency management – we cover everything. It becomes especially interesting when our experienced instructors share their experiences and insights from their daily work as skippers.

Today we're practicing anchoring. In a bay off the uninhabited island of Moni, we'll take our time to practice perfect anchoring techniques! Our instructor will show us what to consider when handling the anchor gear and how to check the anchor's hold – teamwork is essential here. In the afternoon, we can explore the island. Peacocks and deer roam freely, creating a truly immersive nature experience. For the more adventurous among us, there's the option of taking a trip to the island's summit. You'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view that simply must be experienced.

During today's leg to Aegina, we'll focus on sailing practice. We'll practice various maneuvers such as tacking, gybing, and setting courses, and everyone will take a turn at the helm. Our destination for the day lies in the middle of the Saronic Gulf: Aegina – which translates to 'Goat Island'. For the night, we'll choose one of the bays, take the dinghy ashore, or enjoy the last rays of sunshine with a sundowner on deck.

Today we're heading to Poros, a lively harbour with bars, restaurants, and small shops. But for skipper training, a harbour means we'll take the opportunity to focus intensively on harbour manoeuvres. We'll practice precise docking and secure mooring! If everyone's doing well, there will certainly be time to explore the town a bit. Whether we stroll through the narrow streets or optionally hop on a scooter or quad bike and explore the hilly island at a faster pace – a day on Poros is always varied and magical.

Sailing from Poros to Dhokos today, we'll get back to practical sailing, giving everyone another chance to practice various manoeuvres. Once we're at anchor, we have one more thing on our to-do list: engine knowledge, one of several theory sessions that are part of skipper training. Afterward, there will be time for a refreshing dip in the cool water and, optionally, a 45-minute walk up a hill directly from our anchorage. Dhokos is one of the best places to watch the sunset while sailing in Greece.

On the last day, we're usually back at the starting port by early morning. Not to call it a day early, though, but to practice the final touches of our harbor maneuvers in the marina. If it gets too crowded in the afternoon with the returning charter yachts, we go for another sail before we have to be back in the destination port by 5:00 PM. Then it's time to fill out the logbooks, tidy up the boat (feel free to pass on any leftover food to the next crew), and reminisce about the week in a restaurant or with a home-cooked meal on board, before spending one last night on board.

Today it's time to say goodbye. Final check-out is at 9:00 AM, which means we need to leave the boat clean by then. Ideally, your flight should depart on Saturday after 12:00 PM so you can enjoy a leisurely breakfast in Athens with your crew after a week of sailing. If that's not possible, you can book your return flight from 7:00 AM on Saturday.

"This was my fourth time here, always beautiful. Clear starry nights in the bays and still pleasantly warm in October. I booked my skipper training here, you're forced to practice stern-to Med mooring with an anchor."

"It was a great training cruise. I learned a lot, including how to weather a storm. It was also my first cruise in a flotilla, it was cool to be out with a few more boats."

"It’s a real art to teach so professionally and patiently while still keeping the vibe this good! Awesome skipper, and the absolute perfect balance of training and fun."
