I came alone and, to be honest, I was a little worried that it might feel awkward. But within the first few minutes, it was clear: everyone is super open and relaxed. Conversations just happen naturally, without anything feeling forced.

Before my first JTC trip, I had no idea what to expect. I didn’t know anyone and initially thought it might be a little weird. In the end, I didn’t want to go home at all!

What I liked most was how effortlessly everything was organized. No chaos, no awkward situations, no pressure. All you really had to do was show up, and you could immediately start having a great time.

I’m a JTC skipper, and for me, there’s nothing better than growing together with others and sharing special moments that turn a crew into a little family. Sailing and the dream of becoming a skipper have long since become more than just a passion for me — they’ve become an integral part of my life.
