Create your own sailing holiday for your group tour with young people: With Join The Crew you get a sailing yacht according to your wishes, including a qualified JTC skipper. We organise everything for you - from the booking to the goodbye in the marina. During the sailing tour you will benefit from our insider knowledge and connections in every harbour. Decide for yourself which route to take or join a Join-The-Crew flotilla.

How it works

Sailing skills
None of the group needs sailing licences or previous experience. Our concept, skippers and sailing routes are perfectly adapted to beginners.

Group size
The smallest yachts with 3 cabins are already available for four people. The largest yachts can accommodate up to 12 people. Larger groups are split over several yachts. For perfect harmony on the yachts of our sailing tours, groups of a maximum of 4 people can book existing sailing tours.

Group discount
You book a yacht with a fixed price (regardless of the number of people on board) and receive a 10% group discount on all online bookings.

JTC Skipper
An experienced and young skipper from our team will guide you on your sailing holiday.

Crew Finder
Free places on your yacht or cancellations at short notice? The best way to find a Crew member is to use our Crew Finder tool.

Your age
JTC group tours for young people can be joined by people of any age. Joining a JTC flotilla is possible for groups aged 18 - 39.

Flotilla connection
If you want, you can join a Join-The-Crew flotilla for free. Meet young, open-minded people from all over the world!

Security
In case of problems, other boats of the flotilla and our renowned charter partners will help you. Our skippers discuss the current weather situation daily and plan the route for the next day.

Freedom
The low number of yachts in the flotillas (1 - 6 boats) offers freedom for individual route planning. At daily skipper meetings, the wishes of the participants and the weather situation are discussed together and the route is decided.

For yachts on request, outside of our contingent, the included services may vary slightly. Don't worry, if this is the case, our Julia will give you a detailed list of the individual services in her offer.

Payment

Take your time with the full payment:

Deposit: 30% of the tour price directly after booking
Final payment: 70% until 6 weeks before the trip
Payment with PayPal / credit card or bank transfer

Your advantages as a group leader:

Of course, you can pay for the whole yacht and settle it with your group afterwards.
If you want, you can send each crew member an invitation link and everyone can pay for themselves.
You can track your group's payments in the online area.
There you will also find other information material to download.

Arrival and departure

You organise your own arrival and departure:

Before the tour, you will be in contact with your skipper and you can exchange information about the organisation of the journey.
Tips on flights and, if required, accommodation before the cruise, as well as check-in and check-out times, can be found in each tour offer, at the bottom of the FAQs under "Arrival".
Immediately after booking, you will receive the information sheet for the sailing tour with the most important key data.
